- Honey Garlic Sauce, divided

- 1 tbsp
- fresh lime juice
- 15 mL
- 1 tbsp
- minced fresh ginger
- 15 mL

- cornstarch

- vegetable oil
- 15 mL
- 1 pkg
- Vegetable Stir Fry
- 340 g
- 2
- green onions, sliced
- 4 cups
- cooked basmati rice
- 1 L
Directions
Step 1
Toss beef with salt, pepper and 1/4 cup (60 mL) honey garlic sauce; set aside. Combine the remaining sauce with 1/2 cup (125 mL) water, lime juice and ginger. Whisk in cornstarch. Reserve.
Step 2
Heat oil in a wok or deep skillet set over high heat. Add vegetables. Stir-fry for 3 to 5 min. or until tender. Transfer to a clean plate.
Step 3
Pour meat mixture into wok and stir-fry for 2 to 3 min. or until slightly brown. Return vegetables to the pan and toss. Make a well in the centre of the skillet and pour in sauce mixture; bring to a boil. Mix meat and vegetables until well-coated in sauce. Stir in green onions and serve over hot rice.
