Ingredients

Directions
Step 1
Stir melted butter with sage, paprika, garlic powder, mustard powder, salt and pepper. Rub over chicken.
Step 2
Place onions and broth in bottom of slow-cooker. Set chicken over top. Cook on high for 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hr., or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Serve chicken with onions.
Tip
Substitute sage with 2 tsp (10 mL) chopped fresh thyme.
