Ingredients

juice of 2 lemons

orange-flavoured liqueur (optional)

brandy

cranberry cocktail

lemon-lime soda, chilled

cranberries, fresh or frozen

Directions

Step 1
In a large pitcher, stir together the orange juice, lemon juice, orange liqueur (if using) and brandy. Stir in the cranberry juice and red wine. Cover and refrigerate until cold.
Step 2
To serve, transfer the mixture to a large punch bowl. Stir in the lemon-lime soda and crushed ice. Garnish with cranberries and orange slices.

Tip

We prefer frozen cranberries for this recipe – they keep the sangria cold without diluting its flavour.
